Oulu 3D Oculus Rift Hang Gliding Demo
The Oulu 3D Oculus Rift Hang Gliding experience is created to showcase on of the many different purposes to which the Oulu 3D platform and realXtend technology can be utilised.
The full impact of the 3D environment is achieved when the user has on their Oculus Rift virtual reality headset – it actually feels like you are flying!
The experience was particularly crafted to demonstrate the different methods to which realXtend technology can be used.
The flight was featured at the 2014 Smart City Expo in Barcelona as a part of the FIWARE consortium.
